| Development in transportation mechanisms, distribution systems and information technology make activities of fisheries professionals more global. Globalization has enabled more effective cooperation among fisheries professionals. Further, globalization has provided new business chances for fisheries industries. To accelerate those activities sustainably, establishment of global standards on technologies and ethics for fisheries professionals are necessary. International cooperation for establishment of global standards in higher education is a challenge for fisheries and aquaculture. This session will discuss new ideas for international cooperation in training and higher education of fisheries and aquaculture sciences. |
