However, several problems are still present in the field of seed production such as broodstock management, breeding, domestication, larval rearing technique and live foods. The quality of seeds is one of the most important criteria in successful aquaculture operations, therefore a constant supply of high quality seeds should be maintained. This sub-session focuses on the technological developments in seed production, fish larval rearing, the proper management of brood stock maintenance and other issues associated with seed production. |
